— This short hike will take you through alpine meadows, a forest and a boulder field to the Giswilerstock, where you have a picturesque view of the valley of Obwalden. Suitable for families and adults of all age. —

What’s the schedule?
- Your local guide will pick you up from your hotel in Lucerne or the train station at 9am.
- By car he will take you to the trail head located at the Fluonalp above Giswil. You will be surprised by the narrow windy road that leads to the alp. The alp is not reachable by public transport.
- The scenic hike from the Fluonalp to the Giswilerstock and back will take us about 2 hours.
- During the hike a picnic lunch is provided and after the hike we will have a drink in the Alpbeizli.
- If the weather is nice, we will cool off with a short swim in a clear lake (optional).
- Finally you will be dropped off in Lucerne around 3 pm.
